Our History

Tulsa Spring Swing began in 2005 as an annual dance convention hosted by the Tulsa community of west coast swing dancers, and became WSDC sanctioned in 2006.  We believe in the ongoing development and growth of local dance communities through education and training, with an emphasis on social interaction. Above all, we believe the dance community is an extended family, uniting the joy of dance with laughter, shaping long-term friendships and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Each year, Tulsa Spring Swing presents a great lineup of workshops, competitions, funtests and social dancing to the best dance music around. Our staff of professionals are uniquely selected upon their “fun factor,” genuine love for the dance community and their desire to connect with attendees. Tulsa Spring Swing has a long-standing reputation as a creative event, blending traditional competitions with funtests filled with laughter and surprise. Through the years we enjoy seeing our many returning friends, as well as meeting new ones!
